Münster/Gogolin. Hengst is wherever its customers are – operating globally with 16 factories on four continents. This ensures short delivery times for high-performance filters to Hengst customers in the automotive industry, including OEMs and independent garages. The latest plant of Hengst is located on "ul. Waltera Hengsta" (Walter Hengst Street) in the Polish town of Gogolin near Opole. Its official opening took place on 24 April in the presence of dignitaries and other invited guests.
The new location specializes in the production of fluid management modules. Cutting-edge production plants set up on a vast production floor spanning 10,000 m² guarantee the premium product quality that customers have come to expect from Hengst. The 25 staff members already working on the latest projects for brand name automotive manufacturers at injection molding machines and assembly facilities will soon be joined by a large number of co-workers, expanding the staff to a planned number of approx. 110.
"Our global network of production sites brings us close to our customers, and the new factory in Poland will of course boost our production capacity," said Jens Röttgering, Chairman of the Board of the Hengst Group in his address. "The start-up of the new facility could not have been smoother, and I wish to thank the Hengst Team that has made this possible".
The order books are full, and the filtration specialist intends to grow its global workforce by another 600 people over the next five years. This success is the result of a consistent strategy combined with major investments in research and development projects.
