Constituting the legal form of the future, SE (Societas Europaea) offers a variety of advantages to companies operating in the international marketplace. “This step is a reflection of our successful global network and will take the efficiency of our international operations to an even higher level”, explains Jens Röttgering, executive partner at Hengst. “Hengst has been and will remain a family business and stay loyal to the company's headquarters in Münster.”
Employing a staff of nearly 3,000, Hengst is operating world-wide as a development and series production partner to the automotive industry. Maintaining locations in Europe, North and South America as well as Asia, the company is producing fluid management and filter system modules for passenger cars and utility vehicles. Hengst also dedicates their in-house development resources to their global business. “Our guiding principle is: Hengst is wherever our customers are. The new legal form we have adopted is a formal expression of this axiom and lays the groundwork for ongoing growth under our own steam", Röttgering adds. The change of the company's legal status has no bearing on the staff at Hengst or any existing agreements with customers and suppliers.
