To our Hengst family worldwide,
we have all witnessed the development of COVID-19 and continue to personally feel its drastic effects and impairments on our work and private lives.
The entire Hengst Family is indebted to the first responders, doctors, nurses, researchers, health professionals and public servants around the world who are doing superhuman things to help the world master this moment.
We do not yet know with certainty when the greatest risk will be behind us. And yet the humanity and determination we have seen on all sides of our global community have strengthened us in our choices. We need to think and act anew.
That is why we have decided to donate 50,000 breathing masks. For nursing homes, for health care facilities.
We are incredibly proud of how our worldwide Hengst Family is meeting this challenge with unyielding and ongoing commitment. By working together for our community, we will help to build a better future.
Stay healthy. Together we can do that.

Hengst of North America NOW PRODUCES FACE MASKS IN KERSHAW COUNTY
Of course we at Hengst are proud of our mask line, and the fact that we can help our local community through the pandemic.
The mask line has allowed us to bring jobs back to the community and support local first responders and day care facilities with mask donations.
Our goal is to produce 85,000 masks per day to provide PPE to our community, state and nation.
MASK NUMBER ONE
1,000,000 more breathing masks will follow.
"Hengst of North America" supplies face masks for the state of South Carolina. Our production in Camden is running at full speed and we are proud to be able to contribute something against the fight of Covid-19 worldwide.
Together we can do this. Stay healthy.
10.000 Face masks a day. Are just the beginning.
We have good news. Our face mask production is up and running.
10.000 face masks a day are already leaving our factory.
Because of the huge demand we have decided to retool further parts of our production. That means: We will produce more than 100.000 face masks a day within the next day.
Together we can do this.
Hengst Filtration starts production of breathing masks
After Easter, the filtration specialist will start production in Münster of up to 10,000 breathing masks daily.
03.04.2020, Münster. "We donate the first 25,000 masks to nursing staff in Münster - true to the motto "Münster stands together", says Jens Röttgering, owner of the company. "We are now using our high level of expertise in air filtration to adapt production to the current requirements caused by the Covid pandemic". An approval as so-called surgical mask according to DIN EN 14683 is already in preparation.
Despite difficult conditions, many teams around the world are working on the implementation of this challenge - "the commitment and passion of my employees makes me extremely proud", says Röttgering.
