Efficiency and environmental impact are key parameters in car development. Under the slogan “Future now”, the IAA 2017 is presenting tomorrow’s concepts and trends. You can experience innovative ideas at the Hengst booth in Hall 5.1, Booth A28. This is where the Blue.on will celebrate its world premiere – a sustainable and ecologically efficient oil filter concept which makes outdated spin-on filters obsolete.
Around 800 million vehicles around the world are currently equipped with spin-on oil filters. The crucial disadvantage of the closed system is that you cannot see what goes on inside. The whole filter unit and the remaining residual oil has to be completely replaced and disposed of as hazardous waste at every oil change.
With Blue.on, we have developed a sustainable oil filter concept which can be attached to the conventional adapter of a spin-on oil filter. It is also possible to adapt existing engine ranges.
The Blue.on oil filter is predominantly made of plastic and impresses with its low weight. Other benefits of the solution are its excellent filtering performance and the engine mounted bypass valve which guarantees consistent filtering performance over the engine lifetime.
The company is one of the leading suppliers of filtration technology and fluid management and will be exhibiting its entire OEM portfolio at the IAA.
