Professional fields in production at Hengst

Production worker (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities as a production worker (m/f/d) at Hengst:

  • Equipment of our plants with placement of parts/individual components
  • Quality inspections of final products
  • Packaging of finished goods
  • Documentation of work results
  • Plant cleaning

Target group:

  • Ideally first work experience in the manufacturing industry, interest in production as well as in further developing your career
  • Prepared to work in three-shift operation
  • It is also important to mention that employees are offered a permanent contract of employment after completing their probation

Machine and plant operator (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities as a machine and plant operator (m/f/d) at Hengst:

  • Supervision/operation of automated production plants, incl. troubleshooting of errors and disruptions
  • Maintenance and repair work
  • Quality inspection of the final product
  • Documentation of results and disruptions

Target group:

  • Ideally, completed industrial/technical training. Alternatively, several years of experience in a similar role
  • Interest in technology, in particular in complex machinery
  • Prepared to work in three-shift operation

Location:

  • Nordwalde

Tool mechanic (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities as a tool mechanic (m/f/d) at Hengst:

  • Maintenance and repair of die-casting and injection molding tools
  • Use of manual manufacturing processes (e.g., turning, drilling, grinding) to produce spare parts for production tools and equipment
  • Production of new tools (e.g., three-plate molds)
  • Inspection of external suppliers’ injection molds

Target group:

  • Completed technical training (preferably as a tool mechanic), ideally with first work experiences
  • Technical interest and knowledge in working with injection molds
  • Prepared to work in three-shift operation

Fitter (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities as a fitter (m/f/d) at Hengst:

  • Setup and operation of production plants
  • Maintenance and repair work
  • Optimization of tooling and setup processes
  • Execution and documentation of quality inspections
  • Training and supervision of production staff and worksites

Target group:

  • Ideally, completed industrial/technical training (e.g., as machine and plant operator). Alternatively, several years of experience in a similar role and in industrial production
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics
  • Prepared to work in three-shift operation

Cutting machine operator (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities as a cutting machine operator (m/f/d) at Hengst:

  • Operation of state-of-the-art CNC-controlled machines
  • Production of single parts and small batches
  • Execution of necessary repair and maintenance work
  • Continual optimization of tooling and setup processes

Target group:

  • Completed technical training in a metalworking profession (ideally as a cutting machine operator)
  • First work experience using CNC (milling) machines
  • Strong interest in and understanding of technology

Process mechanic (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities as a process mechanic (m/f/d) at Hengst:

  • Programming, operation, and equipment of our state-of-the-art injection molding machines and robotic systems 
  • Optimization of equipment and production processes
  • Carry out maintenance by working closely with tool mechanics and maintenance staff
  • Evaluation of test results and division of the resulting measures

Target group:

  • Completed vocational training as process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology
  • Experience in the fields of statistical process control, engineering thermoplastics, and in the production of sophisticated plastic parts
  • Strong interest in and understanding of technology
  • Prepared to work in three-shift operation
