After working at Hella in Lippstadt, Melbourne and Changchun as well as in management consulting, he joined Hengst in 2012.

Initially as CFO for five years, since 2017 as CEO. In this role, responsible for Independent Aftermarket, Engine and Mobile Filtration, Industrial Filtration, Business Development, our Tech Center Filtration as well as Marketing and Communication.

COO

Howard Boyer

Initially worked for Benteler Automotive in Paderborn and Tokyo, then for Henninges Automotive in Grefrath and Michigan and for the Minth Group, also in Michigan.

COO of the Hengst Group since 2018. Responsible for the regional companies and plants in Europe, North America, Latin America and China as well as for the specialist areas of quality management, supply chain management and industrialization.

CFO

Jörg Schroeder

Already worked in the role of CFO at IT service provider Bitmark and for the last five years as CFO at adesso SE.

CFO at Hengst since 2025. In his role, responsible for Finance, Controlling, Human Resources, IT, Legal and Compliance.

Jens Röttgering is the owner and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hengst SE. As a long-standing former CEO and representative of the third generation, he stands for continuity and the strategic development of the family business.

The Supervisory Board also includes Volker Plücker as Deputy Chairman and Oliver Albrecht. Both have many years of in-depth industry experience and thus make a significant contribution to the successful transformation and sustainable growth strategy of Hengst SE: Volker Plücker in particular through his proven filtration expertise at both strategic and operational level, Oliver Albrecht through his extensive financial expertise from many years of CFO work in various industries.
