Machine extraction vs. central extraction systems - what is used when?
Machine extraction systems are ideal for individual machines or small production islands - they can be used flexibly and selectively. Central extraction systems, on the other hand, are used when several processing stations need to be extracted simultaneously. They offer benefits for larger production lines thanks to space-saving piping systems, lower maintenance requirements and a central control system. What legal requirements must be observed for an extraction system?
Various legal regulations apply to industrial extraction systems, e.g. the Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances (TRGS), in particular TRGS 900 and 560. DGUV regulations 109-002 and 109-003 are also relevant, for example for ventilation systems or activities involving cooling lubricants. Hengst supplies solutions that meet or exceed these requirements.

Which dust extractor classes does Hengst offer?
Hengst offers M- and H-class dust collectors in accordance with European standards. M-class is suitable for hazardous dusts with OEL > 0.1 mg/m³, e.g. wood or mineral dusts. H-class dust collectors are designed for highly hazardous dusts with OEL 0.1 mg/m³, such as carcinogenic substances.
