Air Filtration for Buildings | Optimum indoor air quality
Molecular filters (AMC) and Activated Carbon Filters (AMC)
Molecular filters and Activated Carbon Filters, also known as AMC filters (AMC = Airborne Molecular Contamination), are used for clean air in industrial applications and also in Building Services Engineering. They protect sensitive production processes and indoor air in buildings from harmful gases and odors. These filters effectively separate molecules that are typically 1,000 to 10,000 times smaller than most particles that can be filtered by HEPA and ULPA filters. AMC filters are widely used in industrial processes exposed to gas pollution and in areas with specific odor pollution, such as airports, where kerosene fumes are a hazard.
Molecular filters use adsorption technology for filtration. This uses the unique, porous surface structure of activated carbon or other adsorbents. Molecules are enriched in this structure and thus effectively removed from the air.
Our product portfolio includes both activated carbon cartridges and Compact filters in V-bank or front frame design. This offers flexibility and efficiency in different areas of application.
