For the hydraulic circuit, Hengst offers a sustainable filtration concept for the Spin on Filter. The Blue.on Hydraulic is a cleaner solution compared to the spin-on filter and can be used very well in the agricultural, forestry and construction industries.

The Blue.on Hydraulic is the award-winning alternative to the spin-on filter, allowing for tool-free replacement and less waste. Spin-on filters are used in numerous applications and the entire filter unit is replaced each time the filter is changed. Actually, only the Filter Elements need to be replaced. However, the housing with the other functions is also disposed of, generating millions of tons of waste every year and thus an enormous environmental impact. Recycling does not usually take place due to the large number of materials used. Worse still, the spin-ons have to be disposed of as hazardous waste due to the residual liquids they contain.

The Blue.on filtration concept consists of three components: A plastic cover, a filter element and the filter head with valves, whereby only the filter element needs to be replaced and the remaining components remain on the engine for life. The Blue.on can be easily applied to the existing spin-on interface.

Components

Service life component: Filter bowl

The filter bowl is made of plastic, which saves weight and prevents metal abrasion thanks to the plastic thread. The system optimizes maintenance thanks to a drain plug and a quick-release fastener with a defined stop.

Service life component: Filter head

Integrated coding guarantees that the correct Filter Elements are used. There is also a selection of different connection variants and bypass valves with different opening pressures.

Service part: Filter element

The Filter Elements do not require a Gasket and are 100 % thermally recyclable. A large selection of filter media enables a customized design. In addition, the patented design protects against the use of inferior filters.
