Hengst Filtration presents new CFO Jörg Schroeder
The business IT graduate comes to Münster from IT service provider Adesso.
Münster. Hengst Filtration introduced its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jörg Schroeder on May 1. Mr. Schroeder joins Hengst from major German IT service provider Adesso and will be responsible for Finance, Controlling, IT, HR, Legal and Compliance.
"Both the corporate vision 'purifying our planet' and the transformation from automotive supplier to filtration specialist convinced me from day one of the talks," says Schroeder. "Hengst is working for our planet and future generations, and that impresses me. At the same time, I find the transformation strategy and the resulting tasks incredibly exciting."

Jörg Schroeder, who holds a degree in business informatics, grew up in Essen and also has aMaster of Law (LL.M.) in business law and an Executive MBA from WHU and the Kellogg School of Management. While still a student, he founded a student consultancy and later continued to run it. He then worked for a total of eleven years at Bitmarck , an IT service provider in the healthcare system based in Essen. Here he held various roles, most recently that of CFO.
In 2019, Schroeder joined Adesso in Dortmund as CFO and was responsible for Finance, Controlling, Investor Relations, M&A and Adesso Ventures. During his time, Adesso almost tripled both its turnover and its number of employees.
