Münster. Hengst Filtration is number one among the top 50 medium-sized companies in North Rhine-Westphalia. This is the result of the SME ranking of the decision-maker magazine "Markt und Mittelstand", determined by "Die Deutsche Wirtschaft". According to the ranking, Hengst occupies the top position in North Rhine-Westphalia ahead of the automotive supplier Fev Group from Aachen and the electrical engineering company Obo Mettermann from Menden (Sauerland).
The selection and placement of the ranking is based on 39 different evaluation criteria. In addition to traditional company key figures such as turnover, number of employees and growth, qualitative aspects such as patent activity and innovative strength, commitment to sustainability, social responsibility, digital visibility, employer attractiveness and succession and transformation capability are also recorded.
