Morecambe. Hengst Filtration has opened its new site in Morecambe, northern England, marking an important step for the international Health Care business. In Morecambe, around 75 employees will develop and produce innovative filtration solutions for medical technology and occupational safety.
The opening of the plant in Morecambe once again underlines our transformation from automotive supplier to cross-industry filtration specialist.

Christopher Heine
CEO Hengst Filtration
At the beginning of 2025, Hengst took over the British company International Filtration Solutions from Preston in its entirety. The subsidiary has now moved from Preston to Morecambe, around 45 kilometers away, and will also operate and market under the Hengst name in future.
In Morecambe, we are combining our team's many years of experience in the field of medical technology with Hengst's global expertise. Our plant in Morecambe is a promising location for the Hengst Group, which will soon continue to grow.

The heart of the building with production, warehouse and offices is the 500 square meters of ISO class 8 cleanroom space on two floors. This is where Hengst manufactures filtration solutions for medical products to the highest standards. Another special feature is a special assembly line for adsorbents, which will further expand Hengst's capabilities in the removal of surgical fumes and VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
Here you will find the products in the area of Near-Patient Filtration.
