Münster. Hengst Filtration welcomed Münster's new Lord Mayor Tilman Fuchs to its company headquarters on Nienkamp right at the start of his term of office. Owner Jens Röttgering gave the Lord Mayor a tour of the development and production buildings and spoke to him about Münster's future as a business location.
For us at Hengst Filtration, the transformation from automotive supplier to cross-industry filtration specialist is right at the top of the agenda. But Münster as a city must also set the course to remain an economically attractive location for companies and employees. It is therefore an important signal for us that Mr. Fuchs, as Lord Mayor and head of the administration, is personally taking care of the interests of the local economy.

The two took a longer break at the two cleanrooms in the plant, which symbolize the transformation of the Münster-based family business. Where Hengst once assembled filter modules for vehicles, the company now produces sophisticated products for medical technology and, in future, for the food and beverage industry under the cleanest conditions.
