Comprehensive ESG assessment in four categories
Inteliam evaluates companies based on clearly defined criteria. In the area of Corporate Policies, the platform examines the Code of Conduct, reporting policies and reporting systems. In the Environment category, the focus is on the sustainability of products, circular economy, energy consumption and relevant certifications. Governance criteria include measures against corruption and fair competition. In the social area, Inteliam assesses health and safety within the company as well as compliance with human rights.
Sustainability as part of the company's DNA
The award from Inteliam is part of a series of external sustainability assessments. In 2025, EcoVadis rated the Hengst headquarters in Münster with 73 out of 100 points and also awarded the silver medal. Back in December 2024, Hengst joined the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) to pursue science-based climate targets. Since 2025, Hengst Filtration has also been part of the United Nations Global Compact - the world's largest initiative for responsible corporate governance.
Our employees actively promote sustainability - from product development to the supply chain. Assessments such as those from Inteliam or EcoVadis help us to make our progress transparent and develop it further in a targeted manner. They are both a benchmark and an incentive for us.
