Exhaust gas evacuation systems ensure a safe working environment and the protection of the surgical team and patients. Hengst’s filter solutions are a basic component and can be tailored to individual requirements. The five-stage exhaust gas filter reliably removes 99.9995% of all particles up to 0.1 μm, which meets the ULPA standard.

Our efficient exhaust gas filters have up to five filter stages and enjoy a long service life. To protect the patient and the surgical staff during procedures where the provider is in close proximity to the patient (e.g. in endoscopies), the incoming and outgoing air is effectively filtered free of viruses, bacteria and harmful gases.

The high-performance filters that meet the terms of DIN EN 1822, for EPA/HEPA or ULPA filters, can be equipped, for example, with activated carbon media for harmful gas adsorption and a special membrane technology for water separation. The production, using biocompatible adhesives and plastics plus filter material with low germ contamination, meets internationally harmonized standards.
