The management

Hengst is a family business. We want to keep it that way. The members of our management team ensure continuity and constant further development.

Our Management Board currently consists of two Board members and five extended Board members, who in turn manage our business divisions, plants and regions.


Christopher Heine

After working at Hella in Lippstadt, Melbourne and Changchun as well as in management consulting, he joined Hengst in 2012.

Initially as CFO for five years, since 2017 as CEO. In this role, responsible for Independent Aftermarket, Engine and Mobile Filtration, Industrial Filtration, Business Development, our Tech Center Filtration as well as Marketing and Communication.


Howard Boyer

Initially worked for Benteler Automotive in Paderborn and Tokyo, then for Henninges Automotive in Grefrath and Michigan as well as for the Minth Group, also in Michigan.

COO of the Hengst Group since 2016. Responsible for the regional companies and plants in Europe, North America, Latin America and China as well as for the specialist areas of quality management, supply chain management and industrialization.

Jens Röttgering

As the owner and Chairman of the Administrative Board, Jens Röttgering is the Chairman of the Administrative Board of Hengst SE.

He represents the third generation of the family business.
